Position Description: The Hotel Sales Coordinator provides general administrative, clerical and data entry support for the hotel sales team while insuring top quality customer service. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. Position Requirements: Education/Experience: 1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment. 2. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3. 2 years of general office experience required, preferably in a hotel or sales environment. 4. Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. 5. Must have basic mathematical skills to preform calculations to determine package rates, deposits and balances due. 6. Must have excellent customer service skills. 7. Group booking activity background preferred. 8. Must have knowledge of LMS, Delphi and Rainmaker. Language Skills and Reasoning Ability: 1. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers. 2. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 3. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees. 4. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase to loud. Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted. 1. Must be able to effectively understand and communicate to candidates and employees. 2. Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino. 3. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
